Paul Puncher

An independent men’s specialty store located in the original Train Station in the core of Waterloo.

This space with its wonderful windows and tall ceilings offered an unique ambiance well suited for the elegant merchandise of Paul Puncher. The organization of the design inverted the traditional idea of lining the walls with product and created freestanding modules within the space. A caboose was permanently installed beside the store to provide space for the tailor shop and administration. Shortly after this, the idea to offer a complementary retail operation crystallized; a new casual menswear store next door called Puncher Casual. Since the relocation in 1997 the Paul Puncher has experienced significant growth.
